How to Handle Rejection

A fundamental skill to learn is positive attitude when faced with rejection and you really need to ask yourself a few questions as to why you did not get the job. Were you the right person for the job? Did you have the right skills? Can you improve your CV, covering letter, interview techniques?

In order to assess your situation, feedback from the company is the practical way forward. Try to listen to feedback carefully, making any useful notes and find out where your skills or abilities were weak.

It is important to try and turn rejection into a useful experience; nobody likes rejection but try to be:

1.      Objective

2.      Not to take it personally

3.      Remain positive
